Lemvigh-Müller Signs with Eldon
Denmark’s Distribution Giant, Now an Eldon Partner
Denmark’s largest steel and engineering wholesaler, Lemvigh-Müller, has partnered with Eldon as a distributor of electrical enclosures. The deal was signed in December of 2008 and at present more than 4.000 of Eldon’s products have been successfully integrated into Lemvigh-Müller’s ERP system. The same large number of Eldon products are also available in Denmark though Lemvigh-Müller on the web at http://www.lemu.dk.
“With wholesalers wanting to control inventory costs by limiting the number of suppliers whose products they carry, this deal represents a meaningful vote of confidence in Eldon’s product portfolio,” said Alex Spenger, Sales & Marketing Manager Denmark, Eldon. “This partnership opens up an entire universe of potential customers for us in Denmark, especially in the installer segment of the enclosure market where Lemvigh-Müller is particularly strong.”
The Danish distribution giant has already taken delivery of a large number of Eldon’s besting selling products, including its easy to install wall mounted enclosures and terminal boxes in both stainless and mild steel. A host of high quality Eldon accessories has also been delivered to Lemvigh-Müller.
It’s well know that Eldon views its distributors as partners and the firm works hard to ensure its partners’ sales success. To that end, Eldon is currently training the front office staff at Lemvigh-Müller on the unique selling points of Eldon enclosures through a series of visits and power point presentations.
Eldon has also deployed teams to provide training and information to aid Lemvigh-Müller’s back office staff in working with Eldon products. The back office team at Lemvigh-Müller is currently being provided with installation information, schematics and drawings, data on both stock availability and product certifications as well as an easy-to-use guide that details the dimensions of the complete product line of Eldon enclosures.
When it comes to making sales calls, the firms will also be partnering up. Sales teams from Eldon and Lemvigh-Müller are already planning a series of joint visits to customers this spring, leveraging Lemvigh-Müller’s vast customer base and Eldon’s deep product knowledge in the realm of electrical enclosures.
