New Uniplast Range of Polyester Enclosures
Featuring New Modular Enclosure
In January Eldon launched its new Uniplast range of enclosures. Composed of fiberglass-reinforced polyester, the new Uniplast enclosure range offers customers a choice of an improved version of Eldon’s traditional compact polyester model or a new modular-style enclosure.
The latest version of the Eldon’s compact polyester enclosure comes with some significant new advantages:

First, overall enclosure size has been increased with the compact enclosure range now topping out at 1000x800x300 mm, a more than 30% increase in volume.
- Second, the new compact enclosure’s external environment rating has been beefed up to a hardy IP66.

Third, the new enclosure features double-paneled corner chambers. These enable the installation of ventilation grids which are nearly invisible and protected from the elements (see photos).
Eldon’s new modular Uniplast enclosure range offers all the advantages of the traditional compact model, but it’s designed for both indoor and outdoor use and the sky’s the limit when it comes to size. The Uniplast modular enclosure range offers customers a choice of fourteen sizes -- from 500x500x320 mm to our largest single unit sized at 1250x1000x320 mm. But because this enclosure is modular, several units can be joined together using Eldon’s depth extension kit (UDE) and coupling kit (UCK) as plinths to create a high-capacity floor standing enclosure. As the plinth separates the enclosure from the floor, running cable through the bottom of the enclosure is quick and easy.
Both Uniplast enclosure ranges feature a new and improved locking mechanism for easy closing and increased weather resistance. Additionally, the Uniplast range has a full complement of enclosure accessories, including mounting plates, mounting frames, rain hoods, locks, inner doors and ventilation accessories.
