The MultiCOM range of Aluminum floor standing enclosures comprises:

     - Single and double wall versions.

Standard dimensions ranging from 1200 x 600 x 400 mm up to 1400 x 1800 x 500 mm or 1200x1200x600.

The symmetrical design is based on the Eldon EKSS frame, manufactured from 2mm Aluminum AlMg3 sheet and seam-welded. The manufacturing concept gives the frame a high rigidity and makes the enclosure particularly strong with a great resistance to warping and deformation.

The required rigidity is assured by a 60 degree angle in the frame f ange which is folded four times. This assures strength in all directions.

The frame is perforated with a network of round (diam 4.3mm) and square (10 x 14mm) holes, alternated on a pitch of 25mm allowing fast time saving installation of accessories.

The frame in Multiple door versions, is divided into individual modules by means of vertical dividers (Modularity)

Double Wall versions: The Inner housing is provided with an external wall constructed at a distance.

An air cavity is contained between these. This interposing space has top and bottom ventilation openings, allowing air flow.

The door is manufactured using 2mm Aluminum AlMg3 sheet. Concealed hinges allow the door to be opened to 130°. Multiple door version has individual lockable doors following the modularity concept.

The standard swing handle with security lock, moves a espagnolette lock system with multiple locking points. In the double wall version,the door has an ex-ternal shell with top and bottom ventilation grids allowing air f ow.In the single wall version, the door is provided with a frame with holes on a 25m pitch. This frame gives the door extra rigidity.

A special continuous polyurethane seal assures the IP 66 - IP 55 of protection.

The rear panel is manufactured using 2mm Aluminum AlMg3 sheet and is screw fastened from inside. The rear panel can be replaced by a plain door. Easy one man f tting is part of the integrated system.

The bottom of the enclosure is designed with a large opening and can be covered with three removable and interchangeable cable entry plates, made of Sendzimir zinc-plated 1.0 mm sheet steel or with one removable single piece plate, made of 2mm Aluminum AlMg3 (Accessory).

The enclosures are protected with powder paint RAL7035 100% Polyester powder coating with structured f nish.All panels are directly earthed to the enclosure frame by their fittings or an extra fitting clip.

The mounting plate is delivered as an accessory. Fitted with sliding brackets, the mounting plate rests directly onto the enclosure frame for maximum weight support.

The sliding brackets allow an easy installation and depth adjustment but do not interfere with the bottom cable entry space. The position of the mounting plate in the maximum depth of the enclosure is standard and the use of twoopposite mounting plates is possible.

The same mounting plate can be mounted in the side of the enclosure by using the accessory kit (MPS04).The enclosure offers maximum protection to the user and equipment thanks to the high protection degree IP 66 - IP 55 - IK 10 according to lEC 60529 EN 60529 & EN 50298
